Nov 4 - 7

Hello families,

Important reminders:

  • Please see the school messenger I sent regarding multiplication fluency. It is important to practice these now so that we can build on these foundational skills in our math learning this year.
  • If you want to volunteer in our classroom, please send me an email!

Here is what we have been up to this week:

Social Studies/Writing - We wrote about the foothills region. We first made jot notes, then we wrote our paragraph. We continued to revise and edit our paragraph. Today, we peer edited our paragraph.

Tech Tuesday :)

Remembrance Day - We took time this week to learn about why we honour Remembrance Day.

Math - We are continuing to learn about factors and multiples of numbers. Every math class, we will begin by filling out a blank multiplication chart - this will help us become fluent.

Literacy Stations - are going great! We tried a new station - non-fiction writing.

Health - We are making a poster about the different zones and what body signals match with the zones.

Shoutout to students who are practicing their multiplication at home!!

Have a wonderful weekend and Fall break! I hope you take some time to reflect and relax with your family.
