Hello 4B Families,
Here is what we have been up to this week:
Writing - We worked on paragraphs. For two days, we took jot notes and wrote a paragraph about endangered elephants. For the next two days, we wrote an opinion paragraph - what is our opinion on phones in school?
Literacy Stations - are going good! We started a new station this week - Boggle Writing.
Social Studies - We wrote a paragraph about the Rocky Mountains.
Math - We reviewed what we have been learning about by completing a project on Chromebooks. We finished up the Addition and Subtraction with Decimals unit and did a Show What You Know (assessment). We started learning about prime and composite numbers.
Celebrating Diwali - We worked on a school-wide Rangoli.
Read to Win - Congratulations to Akorede and Alex who are this month's winners. Keep reading :)
Buddies - We finished up our portraits of our buddies.
Field Study Friday - We went outside to collect things from nature. We will be making a nature collage in the future.
