Feb 10 - 13
Hello everyone!
Important reminders:
- Toys/Stuffed Animals/Trading Cards/Fidgets/Make Up, etc.
- Students are asked to keep toys, collectibles, stuffed animals, Pokémon and other trading cards, make-up, etc. at home. These items distract from learning and are creating issues with items being lost or traded, which is taking away from teaching time and learning. While some fidgets are okay to bring and use during instructional time, if they becoming distracting for students, are being used as toys, or are distracting others, I will be asking them to keep it in their backpack for the remaining of the day.
Here is what we have been up to this week:
ELAL - We are learning about Narrative Writing. This week, we talked about important elements that all stories need to have. We planned out our stories and began writing them. We also finished recording our story vines presentations. As we listen to the Land of Stories, we are working on comprehension skills such as making predictions and connections.
P.E. - Skipping!
Math - We reviewed for our Show What You Know, which was today! When we come back next week, we will be learning new concepts.
Kudos to students who are practicing math concepts at home!
Buddies - We drew Love Monsters with them.
Valentine's Day
Have a restful (looong) weekend! See you next Tuesday!
