In-school Field Trip this Thursday - AstroDome

This Thursday, our class will have the unique opportunity to engage with the AstroDome. The AstroDome is a portable, inflatable planetarium that brings the wonders of space right into our school! With a high-definition digital projection system, students will be fully immersed in a 360-degree view of the night sky, making them feel as if they are traveling through space.

This program will allow an entire class to explore the universe together, learning about:

  • Earth’s Place in Space – From our Solar System to the vast universe.
  • Telescopes & Technology – Tools that help us explore the cosmos.
  • Constellations & Navigation – How stars move and guide us.
  • Calendars & Timekeeping – How the Sun and Moon help us track time.

This engaging, hands-on experience will spark curiosity and wonder, giving students a unique perspective on astronomy—all from inside the AstroDome!

The cost of this in-school experience has been graciously funded by the NLS School Council and Parent Fundraising Society. There is NO cost for families.
