May 12 - 15

Happy Wednesday! We are doing the blog early this week as I am absent tomorrow.

Important reminders:

  • SAVE THE DATE: FAMILY DANCE ON THURSDAY, MAY 15 (Western Theme)
  • Wednesday, May 21st is our NLS Cultural Celebration Day! We are inviting all students to wear their best 'Family Celebration' / Traditional or Cultural Outfit. Any interested students who want to  join a mini parade to display their outfits will get an opportunity to do so during the day.
    •  The parade is completely optional. They can still wear their outfits, but choose not to join the parade.
Here is what we have been up to:

Math - We learned about transformations - rotation, translations and reflections.

Connecting with our peers - We did a fun activity that made all of us giggle :)

Writing - We planned our autobiographies. We started writing them today!
