Hello 4B Families,

Important Reminders:

  • Play Day is Wednesday, June 25th. The theme for this year is Movie Characters. Students can dress up as their favourite character from their favourite movie. 
  • Please ensure that your child is dressed for the weather and brings a water bottle. It is supposed to be SUNNY! 
  • On Play Day, we are providing Freezies. PARENTS THAT DO NOT WANT THEIR CHILD TO HAVE ONE MUST EMAIL ME and you can send an alternative treat for your child to enjoy that day.
  • Thursday is an early dismissal day and school is out at 1:05 NOT 3:35. Families need to make arrangements for the 1:05 dismissal.
Here is what we have been up to this week:

Imagination Day - Some activities we did were an imagination workout, draw what our future looks like, write about our perfectly silly day and create our own animal!

 

 

 

 

DASH Robots - We explored with the robots and drove them around the school. We completed tasks on the Scroll Quest.
 

 

  

 

 

Beautiful Oops - We turned an oops into something BEAUTIFUL using our imagination :)
 

 

 

 

Grade 3 students came to interview us about what Grade 4 is like. We gave them helpful advice!

Important Dates

June 24 - Board Game Day for 4B - See School Messenger for more information.
June 25 – Report Cards open to parents via their MyCBE accounts (The last day to view or download your child’s report card is July 25.)
June 25 – 9:30 am - Play Day activities for Grades 1-5 (Our theme this year is Movie Characters…students can dress up as their favourite character from their favourite movie.)
June 26 – Last day of school for Grades 1-5 (Please note: This is a 1:05 dismissal day. There is no school in the afternoon.)
June 27 – ALL Lost & Found items being donated

Hello everyone, Important reminders: Please send you child with a reusable bag if you have not done so already. This bag will stay on their coat hooks and will be filled as I begin to hand back student work. The bags will be sent home on the last week of school.  IF YOU ARE MOVING… Please email  mlbrinson@cbe.ab.ca  if you are moving or if you are changing schools. Here is what we have been up to this week: Animal Research Project - This was our last week to finish up our animal research project. We copied our paragraphs on to good paper. We learned about non-fiction text features and we created a non-fiction poster about our animal on the back. Monday is our last day to work on this.                 Social Studies - We finished our homesteads this week.
